WHY SHOULD YOUR COMPANY BECOME AN ITCO MEMBER?

ITCO is a non-profit trade organization representing the Tank Container industry to the public and to governmental bodies.

ITCO membership include companies in the tank container manufacturing, leasing, operating, and technical service provider sectors who have a common interest in maintaining minimum guide lines and focusing on environmental and safety issues.
The members, in January 2004 in Brussels, have decided to create two additional Divisions: Tankcontainer Service Providers including Depots, Container trucking and Survey / Certification companies, Insurance groups / others

The membership fee is presently 2000 Euro per year starting Jan 1 till Dec 31 or pro-rata for the months to cover.

Members have the opportunity to influence change within the industry and become actively involved in working groups at our bi-annual meetings where you will meet your peers in the Industry.
The next General Meeting is planned in Nice October 19-21, 2009.

ITCO will again organize a Tank Container Village at the Munich TL exhibition in May 12-15, 2009. The stands in the village are only accessible for ITCO members.

If your company is involved in the business of the tank containers, it is to your advantage to be an ITCO member, to participate in the promotion of the tank containers, to ensure that the tank container industry is represented at government regulatory meetings and in making sure that each segment of that industry is influenced and managed by quality companies.
ITCO could become a quality hallmark on your company papers and business cards.

There is much to be done and participation is important for companies who want to make sure this industry grows from strength to strength.

TO BECOME A MEMBER ITCO APPLIES THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE :

As a general concept the Board decided to be more restrictive and only to accept new members who can contribute to meet the original goals of ITCO. The sponsors must write to the ITCO board if they want to sponsor a new company giving the reason why they believe the new company should be accepted. All new applications will be reviewed by the Board at board meetings only. The Board meets a minimum of 2 times a year.

Any company applying to become ITCO member is required to complete the application form and press send or send a e-mail to secretary@itco.be
They should be sponsored by 2 Fee paid ITCO members.
A new member will be asked to pay the fee, pro-rata for the duration of that current Years membership.
After acceptance and on receipt of payment your company will be added to our web-site with a direct link to your office.
Our web-site is visited by over 200 personÂ’s world wide every day.
