NEXT ITCO GENERAL MEETING : 9 & 10 November 2010

The conference will begin on the morning of Tuesday 9 November with a plenary session.

After reports from the President, the Secretary and the Technical Secretary, the keynote speaker will be Ben Hackett, an international specialist in global trade and shipping, who will be presenting his forecasts for trade development and the chemical business.

In the afternoon of Tuesday 9th, there will be Divisional meetings, followed by break-out sessions, focusing on the following topics:

• The Tank Container Village at Munich
• The ITCO Promotional Presentation/DVD
• A Meeting of the ITCO Technical Committee

There will be a Cocktail Reception, kindly sponsored by CIMC, for all participants on the evening of Tuesday 9 November, followed by dinner.

The morning of Wednesday 10 November will commence with reports by the Divisional Chairman.
There will then be a Technical Presentation by Peter Hartwig, from the Technical University of Dresden and the TÜV Süd Rail testing facility (Görlitz), who will be discussing the impact of liquid surges on tank containers during rail impact testing.

After further reports on other ITCO activities, the General Meeting will conclude with lunch at 12:00.
